Over the past six years, the Foundation has delivered programmes across food security, sports and education and gender-based violence prevention, reaching thousands of lives. This includes:

  • Approximately R60 million invested into food security initiatives through partnerships
  • Eight infrastructure projects, including libraries, a community kitchen and sports facilities
  • More than 4,500 children reached through the Siyaphakama Zwide Schools Project since 2022

Building on this impact, the Foundation has launched The First Cup Fund, a national initiative running from 9 April to 9 May.

The concept is simple but powerful: South Africans can contribute to childhood development by purchasing a warm beverage at participating Tiger’s Milk and Old Town Italy restaurants nationwide. Each purchase supports programmes focused on nutrition, safe spaces and early learning.

At a time when many communities continue to face socio-economic pressure, the initiative connects everyday moments with meaningful impact, making participation accessible to a broader audience.

Looking ahead

The Kolisi Foundation will continue to focus on targeted interventions across its core pillars, with an emphasis on strengthening community partnerships and delivering measurable, sustainable outcomes.
